Quinta Brunson is lighting up the 2024 Golden Globes red carpet with a silver, sparkly number.
The 34-year-old writer and producer was one of the first Abbott Elementary stars to walk onto the star-studded red carpet, and she certainly made a stellar entrance. Brunson was photographed wearing a custom-made silver Balmain gown. She also rocked straight hair with a chic middle part and curled ends. (So. Fab.)
Brunson shared more deets about her stunning ensemble on her personal IG page. Along with a slideshow filled with photos of her Golden Globes look, the actress revealed that she accessorized the outfit with Loraine Schwartz jewelry and shoes from Jimmy Choo. “Golden Globes,” Brunson wrote in the caption accompanied by sparkly star emojis.
For this year’s Golden Globes, Brunson scored a nomination for Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Television Series, Comedy or Musical. FYI, she was nominated for the same award in 2023 and won for her portrayal of Janine Teagues in Abbott Elementary.
Back in April 2022, Brunson spoke with Elle and shared her plans for the beloved mockumentary comedy. “When I was [first] thinking about Abbott, I thought about a season one, and then I thought about a season nine. Not that I’m saying it would make it to a season nine because that’s a long way away—I don’t even know if people want [the show] to go to a season nine—but I was like, Where would I like these characters to end up?” she explained. “And I think that, if you know the end of the story, you can do everything you need to do in between to keep it from getting there too soon but still be building up to that.”
