Queen Camilla Just Proved She's the Queen of Outfit Repeats

Royals, they're just like us

One of the underrated joys of spotting the royals out and about? The fashion, of course. Whether it’s Kate Middleton turning heads in a pale pink Christian Dior ensemble, Duchess Sophie rocking a bold geometric shirtdress, or Princess Eugenie nailing a museum gala look in a chic co-ord set, there’s no shortage of style inspo. And while the royals are known for stepping out in new designer pieces, every now and then, they surprise us with a rewear moment. The latest to do just that? Queen Camilla.

On Thursday, August 21, Queen Camilla, 78, attended day two of the Ebor Festival at York Racecourse, where she serves as patron. She looked lovely in a pale blue belted coat by Anna Valentine, nude pumps and a fedora-style hat complete with a bow at the back. But it was the dress underneath that caught my attention.

Camilla wore a white floral Fiona Clare dress with colorful blooms scattered throughout and yes, I instantly recognized it. She wore the same dress back in May for a visit to Canada House in London, marking its 100th anniversary (photo below).

But if we’re really keeping track, she actually wore it even earlier—back in July 2024 during Holyrood Week in Scotland, alongside King Charles III.

To be fair, Queen Camilla has long been a fan of the outfit repeat.

Just last year, she wore the same pastel pink ensemble to mark the 80th anniversary of the D-Day Landings that she previously donned on a visit to France. And let’s not forget her green peacock dress, which has made multiple appearances, from church services and receptions to royal events around the globe.

Moral of the story? When you’ve got a great dress, wear it again (and again).
