Princess Raiyah of Jordan Just Got Married—& Shared Pics of Her Gorgeous Embroidered Wedding Gown

Listen up, royal fans: Princess Raiyah of Jordan just hosted the very first royal wedding since lockdown began earlier this year.

Yesterday, the 34-year-old princess tied the knot with her longtime beau, British journalist Ned Donovan. While it was originally planned for earlier this year, the couple was forced to postpone the nuptials due to the coronavirus pandemic. To abide by guidelines, they arranged a socially distanced ceremony in England, which was attended by their close friends and family.

Princess Raiyah celebrated the exciting news on her personal Twitter account, where she shared two never-before-seen photos from the wedding. The first pic shows her gorgeous embroidered gown, which features a high neck silhouette and matching headpiece. The second shot shows Donovan signing the marriage certificate to make things official.

She captioned the post, “Thank you all for your kind messages on our wedding! While it was originally planned for April in Jordan, the pandemic derailed those plans and it was safer for my husband’s family to hold it in the U.K. God willing, we look forward to celebrating in Jordan once the situation allows.”

If Princess Raiyah is planning a second ceremony, does that mean she has another wedding dress casually sitting in her closet? Oh, to be royal.
