Princess Mary of Denmark Copied Kate Middleton with the Latest Photos of Her Twins

Princess Mary of Denmark is taking a page out of Kate Middleton’s photography handbook.

Earlier today, the Danish royal, 47, released two never-before-seen photos of her twins, Prince Vincent and Princess Josephine. The portraits were taken by Princess Mary in honor of the pair’s 9th birthday today (January 8).

In the slideshow, the first two pics are recent and feature the royal twins hugging each other, followed by a candid snap of Prince Vincent kissing his sister. The rest of the images were taken throughout their lives and show the progression of their childhood. Damn, we feel old.

This is the first time that Princess Mary of Denmark has taken birthday portraits of the twins. Still, we’re not surprised by the gesture, since Middleton has been following the same tradition for years. Not only does the Duchess of Cambridge release annual photos of her three children—Prince George (6), Princess Charlotte (4) and Prince Louis (1)—but she also takes the pics herself.

Princess Mary is married to Frederik, Crown Prince of Denmark. They currently reside at Frederik VIII’s Palace, which is one of the four residences located at the Amalienborg Palace estate in Copenhagen.

In addition to Prince Vincent and Princess Josephine, the couple has two other children: Prince Christian (14) and Princess Isabella (12).

Wishing a very happy 9th birthday to Prince Vincent and Princess Josephine!
