Princess Eugenie Celebrates Sister Beatrice’s Secret Wedding: ‘Couldn’t Bea Happier (Get It)’

Princess Eugenie is showing major love for Princess Beatrice. The Princess of York recently shared a sweet tribute to her big sister in honor of her wedding day

ICYMI: Beatrice and her fiancée Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi quietly tied the knot in an intimate ceremony on Friday. Buckingham Palace broke the news in a statement, "The private wedding ceremony of Princess Beatrice and Mr. Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi took place at 11 a.m. on Friday 17th July at The Royal Chapel of All Saints at Royal Lodge, Windsor. The small ceremony was attended by The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh and close family. The wedding took place in accordance with all relevant Government Guidelines.”

In honor of the milestone, 30-year-old Eugenie posted one of her sister’s stunning wedding portraits on Instagram, accompanied by a heartfelt (not to mention, clever) message.

“Couldn't Bea happier (get it),” she captioned the post. “What a complete joy and privilege to watch you, my beautiful big sister, walk down the aisle to dear Edo. I am so proud of you and I'm so excited to support you in the next chapter of your life. We are going to have so much fun together. ⁣Happy wedding day to you both xxxx.”

Due to the current coronavirus pandemic, the couple had to postpone their original wedding, which was supposed to take place on May 29 at St. James Palace’s Chapel Royal. However, we’re happy to see that the newlyweds were able to mark the day surrounded by immediate family, including Eugenie, Sarah Ferguson and, of course, Her Majesty.

Hopefully, we will Bea surprised this week with more behind-the-scenes photos.
