Prince Harry Dressed Up as Santa Claus to Bring Christmas Cheer to Children Who’ve Lost a Parent

Prince Harry appears to be settling into dad life just fine and he has the fatherhood hijinks to prove it.

The 35-year-old Duke of Sussex flexed his parenting muscles by bringing holiday cheer to the children of Scotty’s Little Soldiers, a charity that nurtures kids who have lost a parent during their service in the armed forces. Not only did he personally record a special message for them ahead of the Scotty’s Little Soldiers annual Christmas party, but he even dressed up as Santa Claus.

Yes, the new dad donned the signature Santa hat, faux white beard and a full suit (complete with a hefty belly). Luckily, someone shared the video on Twitter for all to enjoy.

In the video above, Prince Harry hones-in on what makes Scotty’s Little Soldiers so special.

“Ho, ho, ho, hi guys!” he begins. “I hope you’re having an amazing time. I hear there’s 190 of you there this year, so please cause as much chaos as humanly possible. I also want you to look around and realize that you’re a part of a family, part of an amazing community and that there’s support there for you every single day, should you need it.”

Because the prince lost his own mother, Princess Diana, at the young age of 12, he understands exactly what the children are going through. He goes on to say, “Yes, losing a parent is incredibly hard, but I know that every single one of you, by helping each other out that you will have an amazing future ahead of you and you’re going to have an amazing Christmas as well.”

Excuse us, our eyes seems to be watering.
