In Unsurprising News, Prince George's School Lunches Are Fancier Than Yours

prince george lunch hero

Think back to your first days of school. Fun, right? Now think about what you were eating for lunch. Brown-bagged sandwiches and—if you were really lucky—Dunkaroos?

That is decidedly not what Prince George is eating.

At his school, Thomas's Battersea, the catering team prepares meals like lamb ragout with garlic and fresh herbs, salmon fillet with salsa verde, Mediterranean couscous and three-bean ratatouille. For dessert? Portuguese egg custard tarts. (Drool over more sample menus here.) So yes, these are lunches fit for a king prince.

No wonder this place costs $23,000 a year.
