Check Out the Actor Who Will Play Prince Charles Alongside Kristen Stewart in Princess Diana Film

While we're itching for the next season of The Crown, there will be plenty of royal family flicks to tide us over, and one of the most anticipated films is Pablo Larraín's Spencer, which will follow Princess Diana's trip to Sandringham House in Norfolk, England for Christmas of '91.

There has been plenty of excitement bubbling around Kristen Stewart's portrayal of Lady Di, and we've been treated to some promotional images where we could have sworn we were looking at Princess Diana herself.

Now, it's been announced that Jack Farthing will play Prince Charles alongside Stewart, and we're anxiously awaiting his cinematic transformation.

While the Prince of Wales has been portrayed by actors like Josh O'Connor and Alex Jennings, Farthing will be the latest Brit to take on the role. Farthing is most notable for playing Freddie Threepwood in Blandings, as well as George Warleggan in PoldarkIn addition to these BBC shows, he also played Marc in the 2020 Netflix rom-com Love Wedding Repeat.

Spencer will explore the weekend when Princess Diana decided to end her marriage to the Prince of Wales. According to the film's official synopsis, "There's eating and drinking, shooting and hunting. Diana knows the game. This year, things will be a whole lot different." While Farthing will be playing a central role, it seems that this movie will be Diana's time to shine.

In addition to Stewart and Farthing, the cast will include Timothy Spall, Sally Hawkins and Sean Harris, with a screenplay from acclaimed British screenwriter Steven Knight.

We need more pics from this movie (as well as a release date).
