Miranda Lambert recently shared a pic of her grandfather and fans immediately did a double take.
On Instagram, the country singer shared a Veterans Day tribute to her grandpas, who both served in the military. She wrote, "Happy Veterans Day. These are my two paw paw’s. (Dad’s dad) Leroy Lambert and (mom's dad) Marion Hughes who both served. Thank you to them and all who sacrifice for our country."
Both pics feature a close-up of the men smiling, but right off the bat, we noticed the uncanny resemblance between Miranda and her paternal grandpa, Leroy. They appear to have the exact same smile, all the way down to those dimples.
One fan commented, "You get your great smile from Mr. Lambert!" Another fan said, "Looks like we found out where you got your amazing eyes from! [heart eyes emoji] Many thanks to your Paw Paws for their service!!!"

The country star recently celebrated her 37th birthday and her husband, Brendan McLoughlin, marked the occasion with a tribute. On Instagram, he posted a collection of photos and wrote, "Would love to just wish a happy birthday to my amazing wife. Not only am I thankful, but I am so proud to be able to call you my wife. You are the most genuine and caring person I truly have ever met."
He added, "No matter what hurdles life has thrown in the way, you have always stayed true to your heart and that says more than you will ever know. I love you and I hope you have such an amazing birthday."
Should they decide to expand the family, we get the feeling that these good genes won't end with Miranda.
