Michelle Williams Secretly Welcomed a Baby with Husband Thomas Kail

Michelle Williams can officially cross “have a baby during a global pandemic” off her bucket list.

According to Us Weekly, the Dawson’s Creek alum, 39, has welcomed her first child with her husband, Thomas Kail. (Williams also shares a 14-year-old daughter, Matilda, with the late Heath Ledger.)

No further details about the baby’s gender or name have been released. We wouldn’t be surprised if it stays that way, since Williams is known for keeping her personal life private.

We first learned about the pregnancy back in December 2019, when Williams confirmed that she was not only expecting her second child, but that she was also engaged to Kail. The actress hinted they were planning on marrying before the baby arrived, and that’s exactly what happened.

Earlier this year, the couple tied the knot in a secret ceremony. The news broke shortly after the newlyweds were photographed wearing rings on that finger.

Williams and Kail met on the set of the critically acclaimed FX series Fosse/Verdon, where Williams played Gwen Verdon. Kail directed her on the biographical series and served as an executive producer.
