Her Identity Is Being Kept Private
Understandably, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have chosen not to reveal the name of their new nanny for safety reasons. Royal reporter Omid Scobie revealed via Bazaar.com that the 37-year-old duchess and 34-year-old duke are “hoping to keep personal details of the new staff member private.” We do know, however, that she’s a female who hails from Britain. And no, it’s not Mary Poppins…we think.
She Won’t Live at Frogmore Cottage
The Sussexes anticipated that they would eventually hire a nanny for baby Archie and reportedly renovated their new Frogmore Cottage home to include an unattached home for a live-in nanny. However, reports say the nanny will not live on the estate as of now.
She’s Not Full-Time
Like the standard 9-to-5, the couple’s nanny will only work weekdays and isn’t expected to tend to baby Archie on the weekends. This is likely since she won’t live permanently on the estate. We wonder, however, if she’ll reside at Frogmore Cottage’s nanny residence during the week.
She’s Sworn to Secrecy
Like any family, Markle and Prince Harry appreciate a little privacy. So, according to Entertainment Tonight, they asked their new nanny to sign an “extensive” non-disclosure agreement. This legally prevents her from leaking details or photos about the family’s home life, which honestly makes a lot of sense.
She May Travel to Africa with the Sussex Family
ICYMI: The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are going on a royal tour of Africa with little Archie in October. As anyone remotely familiar with babies knows, traveling with them can be difficult.
