Meghan Markle to Guest Edit and Model in Next Issue of British 'Vogue'

Stop—er, START—the presses!

Meghan Markle will reportedly guest-edit the next issue of British Vogue, and let the publication into her family's (very private) Frogmore Cottage home for an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at their new residence. Fingers crossed for new baby Archie pics!

According to an unnamed source via Us Weekly, the Duchess of Sussex is set to be a guest editor and pose for new pictures for the September issue of Vogue UK—and, yes, we're, admittedly, freaking the hell out. (PLEASE HURRY UP, SEPTEMBER!)

While Prince Harry and new royal baby Archie won't be included in the shoot, and Markle won't be on the front cover, the duchess will write an op-ed piece about female empowerment for the publication's biggest issue of the year, according to Hello!.

The new mom will follow in her sister-in-law Kate Middleton's footsteps, who was featured on the cover of British Vogue in 2016 in collaboration with the National Portrait Gallery, one of the Duchess of Cambridge's royal patronages.

Markle will also reportedly be “bringing a selection of female change-makers on board to write their own personal essays,” along with her own, according to Us Weekly, and we're wishing and hoping with all our royally obsessed hearts that Priyanka Chopra and Serena Williams are getting in on this.

The Duchess of Sussex is no stranger to magazine shoots: She previously posed for Vanity Fair's September 2017 issue, where she opened up about her relationship with Prince Harry (before their big engagement announcement) and her rise to stardom on Suits. My, how much has changed in just two short years.

Now, if you'll excuse us, we need to beg everyone we know in London to scoop up a few (hundred) copies for us when it hits newsstands in the first week of August.
