Happy 98th birthday, Prince Philip!
In honor of the Duke of Edinburgh's MAJOR milestone (he was born in 1921...let that just sink in for a second), his grandchildren took to Instagram (royals, they're just like us!) to send their birthday wishes to the prince.
Two days after the queen's annual birthday celebration at the Trooping the Colour on Saturday, June 8, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's Instagram account, @SussexRoyal, posted a picture of Prince Philip along with his grandson Harry.
The caption calls out Harry and Meg's nicknames for the prince, including "Sir," and "Grandpa." And, who can forget that the palace staff calls the 98-year-old "P.P."?
Kate and William did the same for Philip's birthday with a slideshow of images depicting the Cambridges alongside the birthday boy. Though, their caption was a tad more formal by addressing Philip as only "His Royal Highness the Duke of Edinburgh."
Finally, Queen Elizabeth's @theroyalfamily account posted two images of the duke: one of he and Prince Harry sharing a laugh at Lady Gabriella Windsor's wedding in May, and one of the (very dapper) duke in 1953 at 32 years old.
Break me off a slice of that birthday cake duke, though amIrite? HBD, Your Royal Highness.
