Last week marked a major week for Meghan Markle: Not only was it her birthday (she turned 44 on August 4), her lifestyle brand As Ever celebrated their latest wine drop the day after. (Yep, a 2024 vintage of her iconic rosé is now available—and still in stock!) But what fun is wine if you can’t share it with friends? That may be why the Duchess of Sussex took to Instagram Stories over the weekend to re-post a pic of a special delivery she sent to a certain A-list friend: Khloé Kardashian.

The luxe gift basket included quite the bounty. There was Meghan’s newly-released As Ever rosé, of course, but also tucked inside was a sweet bouquet of flowers (picked from her Montecito garden, perhaps?) alongside heirloom tomatoes, butternut squash, corn and more. Meghan also included a jar of As Ever honey—a hot commodity given how quickly it tends to sell out.
Still, it was the cleverness of the note she added when reposting the pic to Instagram that stood out: “Hey hey, all my girls with a K,” she drew in her signature calligraphy-inspired penmanship, which also happens to be used in the As Ever branding.

The timing of the gifting makes sense given it lines up with her August 5 wine launch. As for what to expect from the 2024 Napa Valley rosé? The As Ever newsletter describes it in detail. “With a graceful blush hue, [it] evokes the same effortlessly elegant notes of our debut vintage: delicately balanced, with soft notes of stone fruit, a gentle minerality and a lasting finish.” It continues: “Reminiscent of the finest Provencal styles, this thoughtfully crafted blend is perfect for summer’s end.”

Of course, Khloé isn’t the first member of the Kardashian family to receive a special mailer from Meghan. Kris Jenner was one of 50 recipients to receive the Duchess of Sussex’s As Ever jam before it launched alongside other big names such as Tracee Ellis Ross, Abigail Spencer and Mindy Kaling, too.
