Meghan Markle’s Shoes at ‘The Lion King’ Premiere Were a Literal ‘Markle Sparkle’ Moment

ICYMI: Meghan Markle and Beyoncé hugged it out at The Lion King U.K. premiere in London last night.

Once we had time to recover from this epic encounter, though, we quickly realized the subtle, gorgeous details of the Duchess of Sussex's outfit.

What does one wear to meet Beyoncé, you ask? In Markle's case, a black Jason Wu midi dress featuring sheer sleeves and neckline, a Gucci clutch and a sparkly pair of Aquazzura sling-backs (aka that Markle Sparkle was in full effect last night).

The duchess accompanied Prince Harry to the star-studded event, and met Beyoncé and Jay-Z as they walked the red carpet. The couple, best known as music royalty, embraced the royal couple fondly, and even swapped parenting advice.

And Markle did it all while wearing the most Cinderella-esque shoes we've ever seen her in. Take a closer look.

The former Suits star wore the "Portrait of a Lady" pumps (sold out everywhere) from one of her go-to footwear brands, Aquazzura. The black heels feature a Swarovski-crystal-covered sling-back strap.

We think Mufasa said it best: Everything the light Markle Sparkle touches is the Sussexes' kingdom. (That's the quote, right?)
