See Kelly Ripa’s Reaction to Mark Consuelos Revealing He Kissed a Random Woman on ‘Live’

When her husband, Mark Consuelos, 53, revealed that he kissed another woman while celebrating Italy’s Campobasso 1919 soccer team victory this past weekend, Kelly Ripa, 53, reacted like any wife would if they found out this piece of info: she asked a lot of questions. 

While retelling the story to his wife and viewers on a recent episode of Live with Kelly and Mark, the Riverdale alum said, “In the adulation, in the celebration, on the field, when we found out that the other team tied, and we are champions we ran over to our fans.”

Consuelos added, “I’m running and I see this lady, let’s call her my aunt—maybe someone else’s aunt—and we look at each other and we’re so excited and there’s this [plexi]glass and we come to the glass, and you know what? I kissed her.”

Seemingly unbothered by the fact that her hubby kissed another woman, Ripa playfully asked if the kiss was captured on camera and Consuelos revealed that it wasn’t. He went on to share that the kiss was just a “smooch” but “passionate.”

“I actually closed my eyes during the kiss,” The Girls on the Bus actor explained, before adding with a smile, “I closed my eyes, and my back foot went up.” And Ripa jokingly replied, “That doesn’t happen. You never close your eyes.”

But if that weren’t enough, Ripa had more questions for Consuelos, asking her husband of 28 years if the kiss was “open-mouth” and if he just had an “emotional affair.” 

Then, Consuelos chose to backtrack his story and said he could have kissed a guy for all he knew. But Ripa wasn’t having it. “Don’t try to save yourself now,” the Live Wire author said with a laugh. “You’ve already qualified this as somebody’s aunt.”
