Major congrats are in order for Mandy Moore! The This Is Us star just revealed that she and her husband, Taylor Goldsmith, have officially welcomed their first child together. And they even revealed his sweet nickname.
The 36-year-old actress shared the exciting news in an Instagram post on Tuesday, featuring a picture of her son in a blue onesie alongside a heartfelt caption.
“Gus is here,” Moore captioned the post, slyly revealing the newborn’s nickname. “Our sweet boy, August Harrison Goldsmith. He was punctual and arrived right on his due date, much to the delight of his parents. We were prepared to fall in love in all sorts of brand new ways, but it goes beyond anything we could have ever imagined.” Clearly she has the same taste in names as Princess Eugenie. She simply signed the post, “M + T.”
The couple announced that they were expecting back in September 2020 on her personal Instagram account and shared a variety of photos featuring her growing baby bump. The slideshow started off with a black-and-white photo of Goldsmith cradling Moore’s pregnant belly, followed by a close-up shot and candid pic of the proud parents.
Moore and Goldsmith started dating in 2014 and got engaged in September 2017. They tied the knot one year later in an intimate backyard wedding at the actress’s home in Los Angeles.
