Mandy Moore is about to have one more thing in common with her This Is Us character, Rebecca Pearson: motherhood.
Today, the 36-year-old actress revealed that she’s expecting her first child with her husband, Taylor Goldsmith. *Breaks into happy dance* Moore announced the exciting news on her personal Instagram account and shared a slideshow of photos featuring her growing baby bump.
The slideshow begins with a black-and-white photo of Goldsmith cradling Moore’s pregnant belly, followed by a closeup shot and candid pic of the proud parents. We don’t know exactly how far along she is, but the baby is expected sometime in 2021. One thing’s for certain: Pregnancy sure looks good on Moore.
She captioned the post, “Baby Boy Goldsmith coming early 2021,” along with a blue heart emoji.
Moore and Goldsmith started dating in 2014 and got engaged in September 2017. They tied the knot one year later in an intimate backyard wedding at the actress’s home in Los Angeles. The couple then hosted a reception at The Fig House, which featured several different stations (like food, whiskey and even cake).
The nuptials were attended by a star-studded guest list, including Minka Kelly, Wilmer Valderrama, Milo Ventimiglia, Chrissy Metz and Sterling K. Brown.
Moore is widely recognized for playing Rebecca Pearson on NBC’s This Is Us. Although the show’s fifth season was supposed to premiere in November, it’s now been moved up to October 27.
