Lindsay Lohan Shocked the Internet with Her ‘Pilk and Cookies’ Video (So, Of Course, We Tried It Out)

Lindsay Lohan is challenging Mariah Carey for her crown as the Queen of Christmas. Not only did Lohan make her triumphant return to acting with her new Netflix holiday movie Falling for Christmas, but the 36-year-old actress also grabbed headlines when she promoted a controversial drink: “pilk” (aka Pepsi and milk combined).

It all began late last week, when Lohan posted a video to her Instagram account, which she captioned, “Feeling nice…or naughty? @Pepsi, let’s make #PilkandCookies happen [soda emoji] + [glass of milk emoji] + [cookie emoji] #PepsiPartner.” You can check out the wild drink combination in the video below.

In the clip, the Mean Girls actress is dressed in a Santa suit. She pours a can of Pepsi into a glass and says, “Nice.” Then (likely to the shock of some viewers), Lohan adds milk to the Pepsi and goes, “Ooh...naughty.”

Before taking a sip of the concoction, Lohan contemplatively says, “Pepsi and milk...” before arriving at the portmanteau “pilk.” At the very end of the video, the Freaky Friday star remarks, “Mmm, that is one dirty soda.”

Unsurprisingly, this clip sparked polarizing reactions from fellow celebs, like restauranteur Joey Ghazal, who commented, “I am not sure if I will try this.” Meanwhile, Queer Eye star Bobby Berk made a cheeky reference to Mean Girls, saying, “Stop trying to [make] PILK happen! It’s never going to happen!! [laughing emoji]. JK. Couldn’t resist the callback.” But singer-songwriter Parson James seemed intrigued, making a good point as he wrote, “This is probably bomb? It’s essentially like a float!”

Of course, we tried the combination on the @purewowrecipes Instagram account, and in the end...it turned out to be surprisingly tasty. “Lowkey pretty good,” Juliette remarked at the end of the video.

Looks like we might be putting out some pilk and cookies for Santa this year.
