Christmas Has Come Early This Year: Mariah Carey Makes Major Announcement

It’s (almost) the most wonderful time of the year for the Queen of Christmas, Mariah Carey, because she has officially announced the dates for her upcoming holiday shows.

On Instagram, the 52-year-old singer shared the promo for her live holiday concert, featuring the dates and locations for the upcoming Christmas shows set to take place (you guessed it) this coming December.

“It's almost time NEW YORK + TORONTO!!” she wrote in the caption. “Come celebrate Christmas with me this December! lil' excited lil' excited to be back on stage and get festive with everybody!! Tickets on sale 10/28 at 10am on ticketmaster.com.”

Even though we still have some time before the holidays are upon us, Carey has wasted no time in preparing for Christmas. The “Silent Night” singer has been dropping subtle holiday hints all across Twitter and she’s doing it in fashion.

One photo shows her iconic red sparkly dress sitting on top of steps, while a box of flowers featuring the initials “M” and “C” is placed next to a bathtub. “It’s almost time…” the caption read.

It was followed by a video of Carey sitting in a bathtub surrounded by bubbles. A child’s voice can be heard saying, “We want to listen to ‘All I Want.’” To which, the singer responds, “Not yet.” The remark is followed by a series of knocks, to which another child asks, “Well, can we at least decorate the tree?” To the kid’s (and everyone’s) disappointment, Carey simply gives the same response.

Who says it’s too early to start preparing for Christmas? (*turns on ‘All I Want for Christmas Is You’*)
