Lady Gaga Goes Punk-Chic in Purple Gown & Fishnets at 'House of Gucci' Premiere

Lady Gaga just took over another red carpet and her look might be our favorite one to date.

On Tuesday, the “Born This Way” singer attended the U.K. premiere of her new movie, House of Gucci. The 35-year-old actress was joined on the red carpet by her co-stars, Adam Driver, Jared Leto, Jeremy Irons and Salma Hayek.

Naturally, for the occasion, Gaga opted for a stunning Gucci look, featuring a dramatic purple tulle dress and sky-high platform boots. She accessories the punk-chic look with fishnets and sheer, black gloves. See the full ensemble below.

The movie is based on Sara Gay Forden’s 2000 book, The House of Gucci: A Sensational Story of Murder, Madness, Glamour and Greed. In the film, Gaga plays Patrizia Reggiani, ex-wife of Maurizio Gucci, who was tried and convicted of hiring a hitman to murder Maurizio in front of his office in 1995. She later served 18 years in prison before being released in 2016.

Gaga recently opened up to British Vogue about preparing for the role.I will be fully honest and transparent: I lived as her [Reggiani] for a year and a half. And I spoke with an accent for nine months of that,” Gaga told the outlet. “Off-camera [too]. I never broke. I stayed with her.”

We can’t wait to see all of the amazing looks she dons in the film.
