Kristen Stewart Just Wore a Chanel Necklace Instead of a Shirt…And It Actually Worked

There are few fashion designs that are more iconic than a Chanel skirt-suit. That is, until Kristen Stewart added a rather unexpected spin on the sartorial staple.

The 29-year-old Charlie’s Angels star hit the red-carpet premiere of her new movie, Seberg, in Los Angeles earlier this week in a risqué take on classic Chanel. At first glance, it appeared Stewart was wearing a rather demure bubblegum pink set that included a round-neck jacket with silver bouclé trim and a matching thigh-length pleated skirt. Pretty standard right? It would be, if she hadn’t swapped out a shirt for an ornate necklace.

Yes, K-Stew forwent a top and instead wore a tiered waist-length necklace from Chanel, bearing some under-boob and abs in the process. She toned the look down with opaque black tights and black pointed toe Chanel Mary Janes, and completed the ensemble with several Chanel bracelets.

Stewart brightened up her go-to smoky eye, instead opting for silver hues, fresh matte skin, pale natural lips and a bold brow. She wore her grown-out pixie cut in a tousled parted ’do and called it a day.

Although we might have thrown in a shirt for good measure, this has to be one of our favorite Stewart x Chanel outfits of all time. The Twilight alum has had a long-running relationship with the fashion house and almost always dons their designs when walking the red carpet.

Last year at Cannes she removed her heels and now this? Kristen Stewart is pushing all the red carpet boundaries (and we’re totally cheering her on).
