Kristen Bell is reminiscing on the time she killed the maternity game with a floral jumpsuit.
On Thursday, the Good Place actress shared a slideshow on Instagram featuring herself and her hubby, Dax Shepard, attending TIFF (Toronto International Film Festival) in 2014. The sweet snaps were taken as the duo walked the red carpet at the festival's opening night film gala for the movie The Judge. Oh, and did we mention she was expecting the couple’s second child? “#TIFF 2014, five months prego feels like 5 mins ago,” she captioned the post.
And while we always love to see her showing some spousal support, we couldn’t help but focus on her maternity ensemble, which was like nothing we’ve ever seen before. For the occasion, the actress rocked a unique yellow halter jumpsuit from the brand Etro. Featuring a floral pattern throughout, the piece also included a roomy midsection that perfectly showed off Bell’s growing bump. She completed her look with strappy sandals and a wavy bob hairstyle.
Bell and Shepard welcomed their daughter, Delta, a few months later on Friday, December 19, 2014. They announced the news in a sweet message on Twitter. “Delta Bell Shepard is here. She doesn’t look like either Kristen or me, but we’re gonna keep her anyway,” Shepard quipped.
The 40-year-old actress is very open about parenting and her experience raising two girls. However, she never posts pictures of their faces and keeps them out of the spotlight for privacy reasons.
We’ll never get tired of old baby bump throwbacks. Especially when a jumper is involved.
