Excuse us, but we have a love hangover from Kerry Washington’s latest outfit.
The 42-year-old Scandal star looked very Diana Ross at a Hollywood Foreign Press Association Grants Banquet hosted by Moet & Chandon at the Beverly Wilshire Four Seasons Hotel last night.
Washington donned a long-sleeve wide-legged black sequin Elie Saab jumpsuit from the fall/winter 2019 collection with a deep V-neck. It was elegant, it was sultry, it was so disco. Just see for yourself.
She cinched the figure-flattering number with a two-buckle belt and matched her mani to the silver buckles of her belt, because details, people. This isn’t the first time she’s matched her mani to her outfit. She also hit it out of the park in Cannes earlier this summer.
Washington shared a series of close-ups of her makeup and accessories on Instagram, explaining that she was “deep in multitasking mommy mode” while Kim Kimble styled her tresses and Carola Gonzalez did her makeup.
We’d be remiss not to mention her subtle silver smoky eye, light fuchsia lip and sleek natural curls. It also appears that she rocked the same angel-wing-esque earrings that Beyoncé wore last weekend to a Great Gatsby–themed party. If you’re going to twin with anyone, Yoncé is a great option.
Washington attended the event to present Pen America with an award to honor their endeavor to ensure freedom of the press and media literacy. As you’ll notice if you scroll through her Instagram slideshow from the event, it was also an opportunity to hangout with fellow starlets Eva Longoria and Ali Wong.
