Kelly Ripa rang in the New Year with some PDA from her husband, Mark Consuelos.
The Live with Kelly and Ryan co-host, 51, recently shared a never-before-seen photo on her personal Instagram account. The selfie features Ripa and Consuelos smooching just moments after the clock struck midnight on New Year’s Eve.
The caption read, “#2022 is looking up! Captured a kissing selfie with my short arm. HAPPY NEW YEAR,” along with celebratory emojis.
Per usual, followers sent their well-wishes in the comments section. One person wrote, “Gaaaahhh love this [heart-eye emojis] happy new year.” Another added, “This MUST mean a positive sign for the NEW year!!!”
The New Year has brought a few changes for Ripa, who is now remotely hosting her talk show, Live with Kelly and Ryan, due to the coronavirus pandemic. The TV personality and her co-host, Ryan Seacrest, recently grilled new Bachelor Clayton Echard about the brand-new season, where he tells three women he loves them.
“In the world of dating, saying ‘I love you’ to three women at the same time seems to be a bad idea,” Seacrest said. Echard explained that he never meant to fall for multiple people, saying, “It’s something that I told myself I wouldn’t do and, of course, whenever I say absolutes, they end up just coming back and kicking me in the rear.”
Perhaps Echard should take a few notes from Ripa’s marriage to Consuelos.
