When it comes to posting on social media to celebrate her family members, Kelly Ripa doesn’t miss a beat. Whether it’s a birthday, anniversary, graduation or practically anything else, the 49-year-old makes sure to mark the occasion with a heartfelt Instagram post. And today is no exception.
On Tuesday, Ripa shared a tribute video to her nephew, Sergio-Giuseppe Ripa, in honor of his 21st birthday. The video collage, which was almost a minute-and-a-half long, features a handful of throwback clips and photographs of Sergio with the family, including footage of her husband, Mark Consuelos, lifting him up as if he were a little kid. Other never-before-seen snaps include ones of the entire family on vacation, out to dinner and celebrating holidays together.
“Happy Birthday Sergio! 21 and a great big ball of talent,” she captioned the post. “We love you!!!”
This isn’t the first time Sergio has made an appearance on the actress’s Instagram account this summer. To celebrate Independence day, she shared footage of the Ripa-Consuelos gang watching an incredible fireworks display. They were joined by Sergio, who was pictured with Mark in a photo from their day together.
Last year, the Live with Kelly and Ryan host marked her nephew’s 20th birthday with a handful of Instagram Stories, including various photos of the duo ranging from his birth to his current age. “You are simply the best,” “You make everything in this world better,” and “you’re a literal rock star” were only a few of her sweet words accompanying the photos.
