In addition to her duties as royal, Kate Middleton loves to spend time on the side honing her photography skills. Throughout the years, she's shown off her talents by snapping portraits of various family members and even compiling a photography book during the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. So, naturally, it makes sense that the Duchess of Cambridge would want to highlight a holiday that celebrates one of her favorite hobbies.
This past Friday, August 19 was World Photography Day, and Middleton made sure to recognize the special day on the Instagram account she shares with her husband, Prince William.
However, instead of just making any old regular post, Middleton took the opportunity to spotlight four British photographers whose work she admires. An image from each of the artists was shared to the royal's Instagram, along with a caption that said, “There are so many incredibly talented young photographers in Britain today, which is why this #WorldPhotography Day we're spotlighting four individuals who have been supported by @nationalportraitgallery and @royalphotographicsociety, and are doing amazing things.”
