Royal Family Releases New Portrait of Camilla Parker Bowles (& It Was Taken by Kate Middleton)

The royal family just released a brand-new portrait of Camilla Parker Bowles, and it was taken by the one and only Kate Middleton.

Today, the royal family shared a slideshow of pictures on Bowles and Prince Charles’s official Instagram account. Not only did it feature a never-before-seen portrait of Bowles, but it also included a behind-the-scenes glimpse of Middleton’s creative process.

The first photo features Bowles sitting in the garden of her home in Wiltshire, Raymill. It’s followed by a sneak peek of the royal’s brand-new cover of Country Life magazine. However, the royal family saved the best for last.

The final pic shows a BTS photo of Middleton capturing the portrait of Bowles. She’s dressed in a casual outfit, including jeans, white sneakers and a colorful jacket. (Her involvement shouldn’t come as a huge surprise to royal afficionados because Middleton has been moonlighting as an amateur photographer for quite some time.)

The caption read, “In celebration of The Duchess of Cornwall’s upcoming 75th birthday and the magazine’s 125th anniversary, Her Royal Highness has guest edited a special commemorative edition of @CountryLifeMagazine, to be published on Wednesday 13th July.”

It continued, “[Camera emoji] commissioned by The Duchess of Cornwall as guest editor, Her Royal Highness invited The Duchess of Cambridge to capture the cover image at her home in Wiltshire, Raymill.”

What can we say? Middleton is a woman of many talents.
