Prince Charles & Camilla Parker Bowles Make Sweet Post for Daughter-in-Law Kate Middleton on Instagram

Today, royal family followers have seen their social media feeds overflowing with shots of Kate Middleton, with everyone from Queen Elizabeth to the National Portrait Gallery celebrating the duchess on her 40th birthday.

Of course, as one of Prince Charles's two daughters-in-law, it makes sense that he and his wife, Camilla Parker Bowles, made their own tribute to Middleton on their Instagram account. The pair celebrated the Duchess of Cambridge with a series of intimate photos on the official Clarence House page.

The first shows the duchess and Prince Charles engaged in a friendly conversation while at the Royal British Legion's Festival of Remembrance last November at the Royal Albert Hall. This is followed by a snap of Middleton and Bowles, from when they attended the Big Jubilee Lunch with Queen Elizabeth back in June (and the queen notably attempted to cut a cake with a sword). Finally, the slideshow concludes with an up-close portrait of Middleton.

The caption reads, “Wishing The Duchess of Cambridge a very happy 40th birthday today!”

Although it's not pictured, Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall got some good bonding time in with Middleton and her husband, Prince William, back in September, when the foursome attended the U.K. premiere of the James Bond film No Time to Die.

While there, the women stole the show, with the Duchess of Cambridge sparkling in a Jenny Packham gold gown, while Bowles appeared straight out of a Frozen movie in her icy-blue dress by Bruce Oldfield.

However, Middleton got a sweet moment in with her father-in-law, when the two pecked each other on the cheek upon arriving at the event.
