Kate Middleton & Prince William Won’t Be Moving Back to Kensington Palace Anytime Soon

Looks like Kate Middleton and Prince William may not be headed back to Kensington Palace anytime soon. While we heard rumors back in September that the entire Cambridge clan was packing their bags and getting ready to move back home after the holidays, it seems like due to the coronavirus pandemic, that is no longer the case.

ICYMI: Parts of the U.K. recently entered another lockdown amid a rapid rise in COVID-19 cases. As a result, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have decided to remain at their Norfolk home, Anmer Hall, where they have remained for the majority of 2020.

A source told The Mirror, "The family is committed to working together to help the country through the next stage of the crisis. Plans are already in place to reach out to a range of charities and businesses and fortunately, they are well versed in the world of video calls now.”

The news of the royal family’s decision makes sense, considering we reported yesterday that the return to Thomas's Battersea school for George (who is in his third year) and Charlotte (who is in her first) has been delayed due to lockdown (bring on the homeschooling.) In addition, Hello! magazine reports that it is also likely that the youngest sibling, Prince Louis, would also not be starting at Willcocks Nursery School this week as originally planned.

So, while we were hoping to see the royal family all together again soon, we totally understand why Will and Kate have opted to remain in the comforts of their country home.
