It’s been four months since Kate Middleton announced the completion of her chemotherapy treatment for her cancer diagnosis, but it hasn't stopped her from promoting awareness and supporting others who are living with cancer. For instance, last month, she paid a visit to The Royal Marsden and sat down with several patients who were undergoing treatment. Now, she's honoring World Cancer Day with an encouraging message—and it includes a pleasant surprise.

On Instagram, the Princess of Wales, 43, marked the occasion with a special note that included her personal signature. It reads, "Don’t forget to nurture all that which lies beyond the disease. C #WorldCancerDay." However, it's the photo credit line that caught my eye. As it turns out, Middleton's 6-year-old son, Prince Louis, captured the photo of his mom in the first slide.

By the looks of this striking pic, the young royal is already taking after his mom, who has a passion for photography. The snap shows the princess standing with her arms outstretched and in full winter gear in the middle of the woods. As she poses under the shadow of a giant tree, there's a sunlit path ahead of her—and I can't help but see it as a symbol of hope.

In the comments, one fan said, "What a sweet picture and powerful message! Well done, Louis, you definitely have your Mama’s photography skills." Another wrote, "I can’t believe that this photo was taken by Louis, that’s so sweet." A third fan added, "Beautiful photo taken by little Louis. An important message for all those facing the disease."

The second slide of the post features a graphic with the same quote Middleton included in her caption.

According to Claudia Acott Williams, curator at Historic Royal Palaces, Middleton's impressive photography skills were passed down by her grandfather, Peter Middleton. Williams told Express, “Her grandfather was a very good photographer. When she was a child, he would show her his slides. It was him who taught her how to take photographs.”

Since then, the princess has gone on to take stunning family portraits, and it seems that she's now teaching Louis the tricks of the trade.
