Whether it's a trick to keep their dresses from blowing up or a simple way to prevent new shoes from causing blisters, the royals have more than a few hacks up their sleeves. But this time, we're turning our attention to Kate Middleton, who has a genius hack for keeping her feet from slipping out of her heels.

Her secret? Adhesive strips. But how does she pull it off? Allow us to explain.

Okay, What Exactly Does the Princess Do?

According to The Sun, Princess Catherine wears pantyhose with adhesive strips on the bottom so her feet don’t slip out of her heels. And it makes total sense, given that she often wears nude tights with her ensembles.

In 2018, the royal was first spotted wearing John Lewis tights ($7)—which have sticky pads built right in. And since then, we've yet to see any fashion mishaps with her shoes.

So, naturally, we're taking a page out of the royal's stylebook. And though John Lewis unfortunately doesn't ship overseas, we did some sleuthing and found a few anti-slip products that'll keep your feet securely in your favorite heels.

Great for shoes and flats, the skin side of the tape holds your heel in place with a hypoallergenic, medical-grade adhesive that is safe for the skin. Meanwhile, the shoe side has an adhesive that firmly sticks to the inside of your shoe. (P.S., it's recommended that you use this product without pantyhose because it would leave some sticky residue.)

This transparent, double-sided tape is waterproof, versatile and ideal for all skin shades. The strips are skin and fabric friendly, and they promise a "strong hold all day long." However, you'll want to avoid using this one with thinner pantyhose, as it would be more difficult to remove.

This non-toxic double-sided tape is also hypoallergenic, which makes it skin- and clothing-friendly. The wide tape can offer even more support with a stronger hold when you apply it directly to your heel.

With these bad boys, perhaps wearing pantyhose on the reg isn’t all that bad.
