Kate Middleton’s Latest Outdoorsy Ensemble Was *Super* on Trend

Kate Middleton was recently given a new title, and, to no one’s surprise, she made sure to dress the part.

ICYMI: The Duchess of Cambridge is now officially the joint president of The Scout Association and to mark her new role, the 38-year-old royal paid a visit to the 12th Northolt Scout Group in West London on Tuesday. Aside from her new title, the mother-of-three was presented with the Silver Wolf Award, the highest award made by the association.

During the outing, she met with scouts to learn how they provide scouting sessions and online activities through their #TheGreatIndoors campaign. She also met with parents and carers of young people who have been supported by the organization. At one point, she even roasted s'mores around the bonfire and made crafts with the kids. Overall, the occasion was total fall vibes.

For the appearance, the duchess opted for a casual ensemble, featuring a pale blue blouse with a brown leather waistcoat, skinny jeans and her favorite See By Chloe ankle boots (currently sold out). Of course, Middleton also donned a striped scouts scarf.

Her boots and vest specifically were super on-trend, considering hiking boots and vests are very popular this season. The combat style suede ankle boots feature leather trim, logo-embossed tabs and a chunky heel. Her vest, while we don’t know the exact brand, also serves as the perfect added accessory to her casual button-down. Not to mention, it’s ideal for chilly autumn temps.
