Kate Middleton Shares Rare Childhood Photo from Christmas 1983 (and She Looks Just Like Prince Louis)

In the spirit of the holidays, Kate Middleton, 41, recently shared a rare throwback photo of herself celebrating Christmas in 1983 on the official Instagram page she shares with her husband, Prince William, 41. And for a second there, we almost thought we were looking at a photo of the royal couple’s youngest son, Prince Louis.

Earlier this morning, Princess Catherine posted the childhood pic to promote her annual televised special of Together at Christmas carol service (which she will host) in association with The Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood as well as her latest initiative, Shaping Us.

In the pic, a young Catherine sits at a kitchen table with a bowl and a set of candles in front of her. She appears to be wearing a blue striped top with a white collared shirt and a black jacket. The Princess of Wales looks like a spitting image of her 5-year-old son, from the brown hair to the round cheeks.

The caption reads, “Sharing some festive memories this Christmas because #ShapingUs is all about the vital importance of our early years and the role played by those around us in shaping the rest of our lives,” plus info about the holiday special.

A few weeks back, Catherine (and the U.K. channel ITV1) posted a sneak peek teaser of Royal Carols: Together at Christmas carol service on Instagram.
