Julia Roberts's daughter, Hazel Moder, just made her big red carpet debut—but her mom wasn't her date.
The 16-year-old recently attended a screening of Flag Day at the Cannes Film Festival to support her dad, Daniel Moder, who served as the film's cinematographer. Hazel, who could pass as her mom's twin, wore a chic yellow lace dress with black Mary Jane heels. Meanwhile, her father opted for a stylish black tux.
Since Roberts is notoriously private when it comes to her family, there haven't been too many photos of Hazel on social media. In fact, this red carpet debut marks her first public appearance since she popped up on her father's Instagram feed back in 2019. In the post, she's seen taking a silly selfie. Her dad wrote, "The Day Of the Daughter. So lucky this girl is my daughter...and that she takes these awesome selfies on my phone. Staying gnarly."
Hazel's red carpet debut comes just a few days after Roberts posted a rare beach photo with her husband in honor of their anniversary. She captioned the post, “19 years. Just getting started! #conwings." Daniel also shared a romantic tribute and wrote, "Today we start our 20th year of marriage. This photo was on a dusty road before that big idea … just holding on to this beautiful girl one day at a time. One epic day at a time."
Roberts and Moder first met on the set of The Mexican in 2001, then tied the knot in July 2002. Two years later, they welcomed Hazel and her twin brother, Phinnaeus, and in 2007, they had another son, Henry.
Fingers crossed Hazel's siblings will make their make their red carpet debut in the near future.
