John Stamos Just Took His Prank War/Bromance with Nick Jonas to the Next Level

We love a good celebrity prank feud (looking at you, Matt Damon and Jimmy Kimmel). But somebody give John Stamos a damn medal because he just trolled Nick Jonas hard and it’s going to be a hard one to top.

The Fuller House star posted an Instagram snap of himself getting a new tattoo…of the singer’s face. Stamos captioned the pic “#jobrosforlife.” Mic drop.

Talk about upping the bromance stakes.

Followers quickly freaked out over the snap, with some applauding the actor for escalating the ongoing prank battle and others worried that the tat might actually be real.

Stamos’s wife, Caitlin, reacted to the photo by commenting, “@nickjonas will have to name his firstborn John Stamos.” (We wonder how Priyanka feels about that…) Meanwhile, Nick replied to the bold move with an ambiguous “Okay, okay” and his brother Kevin weighed in, too saying, “No way!!!!” in the comments.

Need a refresher on the celebrity “feud”? It all started when Stamos, a long-time fan of the band, was photographed wearing a Jonas Brothers T-shirt back in October 2018. A few months later, Jonas was seen wearing a sweatshirt with that same image of Stamos printed on it. He shared a paparazzi pic of the sweatshirt to his Instagram, captioning it, “it’s your move @johnstamos.”

So meta.

Stamos then responded by posting a pic of himself snuggled up to a pillow with the image of Jonas wearing his image of Stamos. Still following?

OK, so what happened next will really make your head spin.

Last week, Jonas shared an image of himself sleeping under a bedspread that had a picture of Stamos and his pillow (which was a print of Jonas in his sweatshirt showing Stamos in his Jonas Brothers tee.) Anyone else getting serious Inception vibes?

Which brings us to the current state of prank affairs, i.e., the tattoo.

Honestly? We can’t wait to see what happens next. It’s your move, Nick.
