Jessica Simpson just did the impossible—fit into jeans she’s had in her closet for over 14 years.
In honor of her 40th birthday, which she celebrated on Friday, the mother of three shared a mirror selfie of herself in a pair of old jeans (True Religion, jeans to be exact) and a black and purple sweatshirt. And boy does she look good.
"I have kept these throwback True Religion jeans in my closet for 14 yrs (I’m not exaggerating!)," Simpson captioned the post. “I figured that since I’m in the final hours of my 30’s I’d give them another try, and hello 40, so nice to meet you.”
The post quickly gained a lot of attention online from fans and fellow celebs. January Jones commented, “You look about 15 lady” while another fan wrote, “You look amazing!!.”
This isn’t the first time Simpson has used the end of her thirties to show off her impressive figure and sense of style. Last month, she shared multiple photos of herself (and her toned silhouette) rocking a cow-print two-piece from her Jessica Simpson collection. She topped off the cowgirl look with an embellished black hat and a lace cover-up. “YEE-HAW to my final days in my 30’s” the mother of three captioned one of the posts. Not to mention, the (literally) cheeky post coincides with the release of her eponymous brand’s collection of new summer swimwear.
