Jennifer Lopez Just Made a Shocking Marriage Confession—And I Didn't See This Coming

Let’s be real: life rarely follows a straight path. What works for one person (or couple) might totally flop for someone else. The same goes for love. Some people dust themselves off and jump right back in, while others take a beat and choose a different route entirely. And lately, it seems like Jennifer Lopez is leaning into that second option when it comes to marriage.

While performing in Bilbao, Spain on July 15 as part of the European leg of her This Is Me…Now: The Tour, J.Lo responded to a cheeky fan sign that read, “J Lo, marry me?” Her response? Not what you'd expect from someone who’s been known to wear her heart on her designer sleeve.

“I think I’m done with that,” she said, laughing briefly before continuing with her set. “I’ve tried that a few times.”

Honestly, I was a little surprised by her answer. Jennifer has always struck me as the ultimate romantic—someone who believes in love no matter how many times it doesn't work out. But also… I get it. After four marriages, anyone might start rethinking their relationship to, well, relationships.

To recap: she was married to Ojani Noa (1997–1998), Cris Judd (2001–2003), Marc Anthony (2004–2014) and, most recently, Ben Affleck (2022–2025). That’s a lot of love and a lot of lessons.

But one thing Jennifer hasn't given up on? Serving a lewk. Back in May, she posted not one but two outfits that had everyone searching for dupes: a pink beachy moment with a bikini and maxi skirt combo and a gingham sundress that gave total Mother’s Day goals.

So while J.Lo may be pressing pause on wedding bells, her style game is very much still in full swing.
