Jennifer Garner Just Explained the 6 Stages of Daylight Saving, Is All of Us

You’re not the only one who’s totally confused about what time of day it is—Jennifer Garner is feeling the effects of daylight saving time, too.

The 46-year-old actor and “Pretend Cooking Show” host posted an Instagram memoir in six parts expressing her feelings on the biannualpractice of changing the clocks that is ruining our lives. (Kidding. Kind of.)

She captioned the post, “Daylight savings has me like… #cantspringforward #clockinginat5 #sadisticassistant #buttofthejoke”

From what we can tell (hey, the images are small), it progresses something like this:

1. Coffee

2. Napping in the car

3. Napping with a pillow

4. Napping on any available surface

5. Confusion

6. Dejection/acceptance

Hmm. This is not unlike the grieving process. Probably because we’re all grieving the loss of our sanity…all for one measly hour of sunlight. There’s a reason today is also “National Nap Day.”
