Jennifer Garner is teaming up with Lena Dunham for an all-new HBO series about a birthday bash gone wrong.
Garner will portray a Lululemon-wearing control freak in the upcoming half-hour comedy series Camping, according to reports. Based on Julia Davis’s British series of the same name, the eight-episode TV show will be written and executive produced by Dunham (Girls) and Jenni Konner (Girls, Suited).
Camping tells the story of an obsessively organized woman, Kathryn Siddell-Bauers (Garner), who plans a retreat in the wild for her husband Walt’s 45th birthday. But things take an interesting turn when Kathryn’s sister and her friends tag along and cause drama that results in an unforgettable “woman-on-woman crime.”
No further details about Camping have been released, but it’s safe to say we’re already hooked.
