Tonight, television’s biggest stars gathered virtually for the 78th annual Golden Globes. During the ceremony, The Queen’s Gambit went home with the award for Best Television Limited Series or Motion Picture Made for Television.
The series was up against some pretty steep competition, including Normal People (Hulu/BBC Three), Small Axe (Amazon Studios/BBC), The Undoing (HBO) and Unorthodox (Netflix).
In 2020, it was Chernobyl that landed the award. The series was up against Catch-22, Fosse/Verdon, The Loudest Voice and Unbelievable. Other previous winners include The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story, Big Little Lies, The People v. O. J.
