Gina Rodriguez is married! The 34-year-old Jane the Virgin star officially tied the knot on Saturday, May 4, with longtime boyfriend Joe LoCicero.
The newlywed couple first met in 2016 on the set of her hit CW show. Rumors of a secret engagement began last summer when the actress was spotted rocking a very shiny ring on her left hand while celebrating her birthday in Mexico. In August 2018, she finally confirmed she was engaged to her then boyfriend of two years.
Fast-forward nine months and the two have officially said “I do.” Rodriguez shared a clip of their breathtaking ceremony on Instagram while thanking everyone who played a part in her special day: “Thank you to my mother in law for the wedding of my dreams. And the village that helped her! Special thank you to our soul brother @justinbaldoni and my new brother for singing me down the aisle Michael LoCicero @mikelosaurusrex .” She ended the heartfelt caption with a special shout-out to her new hubby writing, “May 4th, 2019 was absolute MAGIC. To my husband Joseph, I am yours forever.”
Rodriguez stunned in not one but two beautiful white dresses with simple, loose waves and a half-up braided flower crown that we’re pinning to our wedding board immediately. In the video, you can see LoCicero, who looked handsome in a dark blue suit, break down in tears (of joy) as his bride-to-be walked down the aisle.
