Just when we thought we’d have to settle for the annual chocolate bunny we receive in our Easter basket, this happened.
Two U.K. companies—Zymurgorium and Slattery Pâtissier & Chocolatier—teamed up to launch the best new treat we never knew we needed: giant chocolate eggs filled with bottles of pink gin. (Yep.)
The alcohol comes in two different varieties: Realm of the Unicorn and FlaGINgo. Both eggs feature a milk chocolate shell, which is coated in white and strawberry chocolate, followed by an edible shimmer.
The treat is then dripped with either milk chocolate (unicorn) or silver white chocolate (flamingo). While we don’t know if there’s anything else that differentiates the two, there’s only one way to find out, amirite?
Unfortunately, there is a small catch. The chocolate eggs are only available at select locations in Manchester, England, so don’t expect to see the treats at your local chocolatier. The unicorn version retails for £49 (around $65), while the flamingo version rings in at £59 (about $78).
Zymurgorium, which was founded in 2012, is known for selling a wide range of boozy products in the U.K., including gins, liqueurs and vodkas. Slattery, on the other hand, has been around since 1967. It’s widely recognized for its handmade chocolates, ice creams and desserts.
Maybe we should hop across the pond sooner rather than later.
