Gabrielle Union Shares Throwback Baby Videos on Instagram to Celebrate Daughter Kaavia's 3rd Birthday

Quite often, the star of Gabrielle Union's Instagram is not actually Union but her daughter, Kaavia James.

The expressive toddler that Union shares with her husband, Dwyane Wade, just celebrated her 3rd birthday and Union marked the occasion with a very special post. “I cannot believe that @kaaviajames is 3 years old today!!!! Time is flying by so fast,” she said.

Union uploaded a collage of clips that were taken of Kaavia throughout her first three years of life. The Bring It On actress continued gushing about her daughter in the caption (even revealing a nickname along the way), saying, “We stay in awe of her intelligence, her compassion for others, her beauty, how loving she is and her fearlessness! We are honored and blessed to be this lil dynamo’s parents.”

Over the video, which Union originally posted to her TikTok, she added text that said, “It's Kaavia's 3rd birthday. Being her mom is truly an honor.”

The clip included loads of special moments, including snaps of Union and Wade at the hospital on the day Kaavia was born, videos of Kaavia learning how to walk, beginning to talk and so much more.

Kaavia received lots of love from celebrities in the comments, like Kate Hudson, who said, “Aw Happy birthday!” and Insecure actress Yvonne Orji, who wrote, “Woooowwww time flies when you’re living your best blessed life! Happy birthday lil mama.” Viola Davis added, “Cutie PIE!!!! Sugar Plum!!!! Happy birthday beauty,” while Taraji P. Henson called her “PRECIOUS!!!”
