Duchess Sophie looked stunning while making a stop at the Central School of Ballet this past week.

For the occasion, the Duchess of Edinburgh wore a green floral midi dress from Zimmerman Everley, which she paired with wedges and a clutch from Sophie Habsburg. During the visit, the royal visited with cast members and watched a few of their rehearsals, which were later posted to the official Buckingham Palace Instagram account.

The post was captioned,  “‘En pointe’ performances at the Central School of Ballet! As Patron since 2003, The Duchess toured The Countess of Wessex Studios, which were named in recognition of her longstanding patronage and support of the school. During the visit, Her Royal Highness watched rehearsals for an upcoming summer performance, toured the Wardrobe Area, and met staff and students from the school.”

Duchess Sophie’s choice of florals is no surprise, considering it’s one of her favorite patterns to wear during the spring and summer. For a trip to Buckingham Palace in May, where she joined King Charles and Queen Camilla to help kick off the first official royal garden party of the season, she was seen wearing a crepe midi dress from Erdem with a black and white bloom design, which she paired with the green “moneypenny” clutch from Sophie Habsburg.

Florals were also her pattern of choice earlier this spring when she took part in a roundtable conversation hosted by the UK Mission to the EU and European Parliaments Intergroup on Children’s Rights, in Brussels, Belgium. For the occasion, she wore a Max Mara green silk dress with a Prada white gabardine wool jacket, along with small drop earrings by Giulia Barela. The dress was adorned with a fancy spring-inspired leaf pattern and completed by a classic collar, gathered cuffs and a belted waist.

Considering how elegant she looks in the print, it’s no surprise Duchess Sophie keeps choosing florals.
