Disney World Is Opening Super Early This Fall, so You Can Avoid the Lines and Ride *All* the Rides

Calling all theme park fans (and parents whose kids have been begging them for a summer trip to Disney): Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida, just announced exciting updates to its opening hours.

For resort guests, Disney World will open its doors to certain parks at 6 a.m. as part of their new extended "extra, Extra Magic Hours" benefit, meaning there will be no line for the most popular rides in the park. This includes attractions in the new Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge and Toy Story Land.

Starting on September 1 and running through November 2, 2019, resort guests will be able to attend the park in the early hours of the morning. This new benefit is an extension of "Extra Magic Hours," which allow guests staying at participating hotels to attend the park and enjoy select attractions in Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Animal Kingdom or Hollywood Studios before or after regular operating hours. Check the Disney calendar to see when these already scheduled Extra Magic Hours take place.

Even if you're not planning on staying in a Disney resort, you can still be a part of this magical offering, since some of the participating hotels aren't part of the Disney resorts family. The catch is that you must be staying in one of the following hotels to enter the park early: Walt Disney World Swan Hotel, Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel, Shades of Green Resort, Disney Springs Resort Area Hotels, Four Seasons Resort Orlando, Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek and Waldorf Astoria Orlando.

So, Millennium Falcon ride sans two-hour wait? We'll take it (and an extra, extra, extra large iced-coffee to go, please).
