Demi Lovato is kicking off the new year with a bold new 'do—and it's nothing like her signature dark locks.
The "Sorry Not Sorry" singer debuted a bright pink pixie cut on Instagram, proving that she can pull off just about any hair color. Lovato captioned her post with a pink heart and gave her hairstylist, Amber Maynard Bolt, a shoutout for the stylish look.
In the video, Lovato sports glasses and a trendy leopard-print coat while giving fans a close-up of her cotton candy-colored hair. Meanwhile, fans lit up the comments with praise and fire emojis. One fan gushed, "Okay I love this hair!!!!!" Another said, "Queen mood [heart emoji]."
As you may have noticed, Lovato is no stranger to dramatic hair transformations, from dark lob cuts to long, wavy tresses. However, one of her most memorable styles is her recent blonde pixie cut, which she debuted in November. The edgy 'do featured a partial buzzcut with dark roots, and in the caption, she wrote, "I did a thing..." Lovato revealed that Bolt and Paul Norton helped her achieve the look, which garnered compliments from stars like Ashley Graham and Gabrielle Union.
Though the singer has been pulling off a number of short hair looks, Lovato also rocked a longer style at the 2020 People's Choice Awards, proving that she can pull off different colors.
