Dakota Johnson knows how to get the fashion conversation going.
This go-round, The Materialists actress got in on the sheer trend, taking to the streets of New York City earlier this month in a see-through skirt and top set from Nensi Dojaka. The ensemble featured a black sheer criss-cross long-sleeved top, which Johnson paired with a matching midi skirt that flared slightly at the bottom.
Underneath the set was a brown body suit that accentuated her frame. On her feet were black slingback pointed-toe pumps that featured a triangular upper and a stiletto heel measuring roughly three inches. Johnson accessorized her outfit with Gucci’s iconic Jackie Bag, which is crafted from premium fine leather.
According to the brand, the bag’s crescent shape is a tribute to the company’s craftsmanship, and additional features, such as gold-toned hardware and two shoulder straps, give it versatility that allows you to wear it in many different ways. She completed the look with a pair of oversized black sunglasses.
Now, this isn’t the only time Johnson has rocked a bold see-through look.
For her appearance at the Women In Motion Awards during the 2025 Cannes Film Festival, she hit the black carpet in a shimmery silver sheer dress from Gucci, and for the Los Angeles premiere of Madame Web in February 2024, she opted for an even more daring bedazzled dress that *almost* bared it all.
While Johnson may have recently broken up with fiancé Chris Martin, it’s clear she plans on taking the summer as a single woman in style.
