Ciara & Russell Wilson Walked the Red Carpet in Bathrobes During Quarantine ESPY Awards

First, Cardi B wore a bathrobe when she accepted her 2019 American Music Award. Then, Kaley Cuoco wore a similar ensemble on the Today show. And now, Ciara and her husband, Russell Wilson, are the latest celebrities to don casual loungewear during a public appearance.

Yesterday, the Seattle Seahawks quarterback, 31, hosted the 2020 ESPY Awards from his house due to the coronavirus pandemic. Wilson even built a step-and-repeat in his backyard, so he and his wife, 34, could recreate the red-carpet portion of the awards show.

In true quarantine fashion, Wilson and Ciara “arrived” at the ESPY Awards wearing luxurious bathrobes. The pregnant singer even wore a towel on her head for good measure (and balance).

The clip shows the duo navigating the surprisingly crowded red carpet. This includes weaving around cardboard cutouts of athletes like LeBron James before chatting with a recording of a reporter.

While the “Goodies” singer opted for an all-white ensemble, Wilson chose a light grey bathrobe that could honestly double as a casual cardigan with the right styling.

Ciara captioned the post, “Lil fun on the Red Carpet The #Espys. Tonight’s going to be a GOOD one. Bae Hosting #FathersDay.”

The couple tied the knot back in 2016 and now share a daughter, Sienna (3). Ciara also has a son, Future (6), from a previous relationship.
