Like mother, like daughter.
Christie Brinkley walked the runway with her daughter, Sailor Brinkley Cook, during the first night of New York Fashion Week at Elie Tahari’s 45th anniversary show. Yeah, we’re jealous of everyone who got to see this in person.
The 65-year-old supermodel made her return to the runway to close out the show. Joined by her daughter, the two exchanged a high five as they walked past each other. Talk about a family affair. Brinkley wore an emerald velvet suit, while Sailor wore a navy velvet dress complete with sparkling sleeves and knee-high boots. Both stunning, the two were clearly enjoying their joint-runway work.
But this isn’t the first time the mother-daughter combo has modeled together. Back in 2017, the two posed alongside Brinkley’s oldest daughter, Alexa Ray Joel, in the swimsuit issue of Sports Illustrated.
It’s clear modeling is in their genes. After the show, Brinkley and her daughter posed backstage alongside Elie Tahari himself to mark the pretty magical moment.
